Today is the last in a series of days in which I have spent hours scouring the internet, reading information and tutorials, explanations and how-tos on blogging, web design and html. In an effort to create something on the web that I can call mine and to join the ranks, at least superficially, of those ladies on my link-list at right, I set a goal of learning code and putting it to use.
After hours of learning and trying, playing and testing, I present to you Allo Lune, my new blog which looks exactly as it did when I began. The only thing I have to show for my troubles is this headache of mammoth proportions and a stain on the floor where my brain landed after oozing out my ear.
Dear friends, web design and I were not made to be together. I know what you're thinking: She's so savvy, you say, How could this be? She checks her e-mail at least seven times per day. She can perform a Google search and turn her computer on and off without trouble. We just don't understand.
I know and yet, the fact remains. Here we are at the dawning of an age, heralding in a new web address and a new way of life only to find that it looks so very similar to our old way. We'll persevere though and maybe, just maybe one day you'll find things changing around here, slowly, ever so slowly, as I wrangle this beast and make web design mine.*
And so I welcome you to Allo Lune, my new blog and old friend. I'm so glad you came.
*It won't be as exciting as it sounds.
