One of my favorite bloggers intermittently posts photos of her family's new-to-them old farmhouse under this same heading, and given our recent relocation to an apartment all our own, I thought I'd do the same. I'm pretty thrilled to be where we are and to finally, finally be getting settled. Every box has at least been opened and most have been entirely unpacked. The mountain of cardboard in the basement speaks to the massive amount of work this has been. The results, however, are quite nice:
This is one of my favorite spots, the "conversation corner." The crow on the wall is wearing costume ears and was drawn by Boston-based artist Sophie Tuttle.
I couldn't be happier with my little office/crafting corner. The shelves need paint and that bare wall some photographs, but I love it anyway. Here's an up close of the mobile I made during the storm last weekend:
